I bought a Dell Precision M4500 that came with a 64GB SAMSUNG PM800 VBM72D1Q mSATA MiniCard Solid State Drive (SSD). I use it as the (C:) Drive programs.

I also have a second drive, that is a 256GB Hard Drive. I use it as the (D:) for Data.

I have outgrown the size of the SSD, and would like to upgrade to 128 GB or 256 GB? Is that possible? I have had no luck to find a mSATA / MiniCard Solid State Drive bigger than 64GB???

What SSD manufacturers/models should I look for? What is the price range?
Also, can I easily upgrade my self. Is it any videos that shows how to open the Precision and do the upgrade?

    Many thanks!

I'm not sure you can find mini PCIe SSDs of capacities greater than 64GB yet... I think your best bet would be to get a conventional SSD for your boot drive, and put a mechanical HDD in your ODD bay (you can make it hot-swap if you want). That way you can just use standard components for both drives, and even take out the spinner if you don't need it.

    Edit: NVM
So far there's nothing out there thats bigger than the 64gb model. Samsung doesn't make anything larger than 64gb for the 50mm line.
The only 128gb models are T-Style, which are completely the wrong shape.

Its easy enough to open your precision though, you just undo the center screw and the screw on the top left and the back panel comes right off. The SSD just pops out.
Your best option is to upgrade your hard drive if you need additional space.

You could get a nice platter hard drive for cheap http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822149171
Or an expensive SSD solution http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820139400
