Dell Precision M6400 Wireless Card Question?

    mine has the 5300. you have to pay extra for it. do you want to see it under my service tag were it states its a 5300. i got the better card.

    I'm not doubting that yours has the 5300 - I was just responding to the post where you said that mine didn't. And yes, yours is better in that it support the "n" protocol. But as I have no "n" access points either at any of my customer sites, nor at my office, and the 54Mbs is fine for me when sitting in the garden (my house, office and customer sites are all wired for 1Gbs cat6) I didn't see the point in spending the extra.

    No worries doood.

    One thing I will say about the M6400 WiFi cards though - the built in antennae give much better range than any other laptop with WiFi that I have used.
