Hi there, when I purchased the laptop, I was led to believe I could use 3 displays at the same time. I installed the standard driver that was recommended to me through Dell.com/support. On ATI's website, it redirects me to Dell support and tells me to retrieve my driver here. So I figured my driver is up to date.

However, when I use Windows 7, I try to output to two 1920x1080p monitors while using my Dell 1920x1200p panel. It gives me an error stating settings cannot be saved.

I went into the Catalyst Contol Manager, and it tells me I need to disconnect a display if I want to use my Dell panel. So, basically, I can only use two monitors at a time.

Does this have to do with the native resolution on the Dell Panel being 1200p, and the others being two 1080p panels? It really doesn't make sense but I believe that may be the issue.

    Any help is greatly appreciated,

    Thanks!

Haven't tried this, but are you using both the dp and the vga? You might need a dock to run 3 screens at the same time.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I am using a Dell dock that has two DVI ports (both are used by my two external monitors). So I'm trying to use my Dell Precision M6500 laptop panel and the two external panels. That is the issue I'm running into. It will only allow me to use the two external monitors, but NOT the M6500 display. Even though the M7820 is capable of outputting to three monitors.

Maybe you'll need the newer Advanced dock with 2x display ports and 2x dvi...

Yeah I have an ATI M7820 and it has eyefinity. It just won't work though. It's intriguing because in the video he states that you can use the integrated M6500 display along with two external monitors connected to the DVI port on the dock. That's exactly how I have it set up but it still doesn't work.

I have the newest port replicator too with 2 DVI ports and 2 D-port ports.

I tried briefly with an M6500... With two external displays connected with DVI via the dock I could not get the internal display to activate. It was however showing me the VGA port as an available output without anything connected (detected). I would try putting one of the external monitors on the VGA port. I would guess that the card can only drive two digital displays at once and the internal display is connected digitally.
