My sister is having problems with her dell M70 notebook and need some advice. When she moves her cursor with the touch pad the cursor jumps from one place to another. If she moves the cursor over an icon on the desktop it seems to jump to another place on the desktop. This does not happen when a mouse is used.

I think you may be able to use the D630 Windows Vista driver for it. Also, be sure to clean the touchpad, as well as the user's fingers...

I reinstalled the driver, system restored and even reinstalled windows but the problem remains. I've ordered a working touchpad off ebay but need a disassembly guide for a Precision M70 or Dell Latitude D810 as they are the same notebook i think.
