Do all Latitude E4300's have an extra bulge at the top of the LCD lid or only the ones that are WWAN capable? Do any Latitude E4310's have an extra bulge at the top of the LCD lid?

Not all E4300s have the bulge, but I'm not sure if the ones that do are the ones that are WWAN capable. On the other hand, it would indeed seem that all E4310s do not have the bulge...

That's interesting. This E4300 review by Greg Ross says the bulge is for the WWAN antenna so I'm trying to see if the bulge can be avoided by omitting WWAN or other capabilities.

Interesting: I had always assumed that the bulge along the top edge of the display is to provide a grip when opening the screen. It may also be there to provide space for the webcam.

My non-WWAN enabled E4300 has the bulge but, on comparing it with the photos in Greg's review, it looks to be shorter. The bulge on my E4300 is about 3.5 inches long.
