Does a Latitude E4310 (refurb) come with the Bluetooth ribbon if not ordered with Bluetooth?

You should call them, and if you have ProSupport, a free cable should not be a problem at all.

 

I did call them. Someone in spare parts gave me yet another part # that supposedly is listed as the 'recommended item' for bluetooth for the E4310, which includes the card and cable. The info he gave me to checkout never arrived in my email though, so I need to wait until tomorrow to get a response from him via email.

I called customer care to arrange a return of the bluetooth card they sent me 3 weeks ago. They're just letting me keep it and refunding me the full amount of the order, since it cannot be used without the cable.

 

Inquire about the cable in a week or two and see. They might not have new cables in stock, but they should have refurbished ones for warranty work. Not sure if sales can get you a refurbished one though.

 

Well, it only took 3 months of checking every other week, but I finally got the Bluetooth ribbon cable from Dell.

In case anyone else ever needs, it was $13.82 shipped. Shipping was more than the cable itself, and there was tax.

You need to do the Dell Spare Parts chat. Tell them to order the part numbers listed in this thread.

Alternatively, you can now find them on eBay since the laptop has been out longer. Dell might be cheaper, though.

 

Thanks for the direction, it was definitely cheaper from Dell than from ebay. I have paid only $15.
