    Here is the E-Series Re-Image Guide on Dell.com.

    I believe that there is no free fall sensing function on 1st generation/E6400s unless you install a HDD that includes that function. And no associated driver on Dell.com.

    2nd generation/E6410s moved the free fall sensing function to the MB. No special HDD is required. And the associated driver *is* on Dell.com.

    And the above referenced Dell Guide is not 100% accurate.
