Yes, you can buy the camera on eBay along with the new LCD bezel that supports the camera. If you have the digital microphone board installed now, then you do NOT need a new LVDS cable since the existing one feeding the microphones is the same used with the camera board (which replaces the existing microphone board).

Yeah when I enable WiMax it turns off wifi automatically. When I'm in the States I can then "see" the Wimax networks that are available, which of course would require a subscription to connect. When I do the same thing in Korea, Wimax doesn't see any networks to begin with.

I guess I just thought that buying the "Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N + WiMAX 6250" option with the machine would preclude me from having to go out and get additional hardware to connect to a Wimax network when outside the USA

    >>> Oh I was so busy that I forgot my question on our forum.
When I got it from Dell, I immediately install some antivirus software as well as some other essential tools so I didn't notice how slow it was the first time I got it from dell. Ah, I didn't add any hardware to my laptop.

Yes, I did as your notes except the driver installation order and the drivers too because I let "Easy Driver" to find and pick the driver on the Internet for me.

About the BIOS boot, I think it's fine and no sign of problem. But when windows is loading, I believe it's quite slow in comparison with other laptops. My sister's Sony Vaio (which just have corei3 and no graphic card) can beat my E6410 in boot time. How can? My laptop share too much RAMs for the graphic cards? or does the Microsoft Security Essentials slow down the boot time?

I'm looking forward to your reply,GK!!! (And of course, to the other who knows or has experience in this problem too)
    Thank you

I can CONFIRM that a 12.5mm 1TB HDD will fit into the hard drive bay once the smart card reader is removed.

    I just put a Samsung HM100UI in my E6410.

I would re-image the system 'manually', being careful to install device drivers according to Dell's re-image guide (my notes). Get the latest drivers from Dell.com. Assess your boot speed as you go.

I am having a pretty horrendous problem with my computer not hibernating at the critical battery level. Via the Windows 7 power options I've indicated that I would like the computer to hibernate when it reaches the critical battery level of 15%. This NEVER happens. Instead my battery just drains down to ZERO and the computer shuts down. Awesome.

Does anyone know why my computer is ignoring the windows settings? Do I have to change some settings in the BIOS? Is something in the Dell Power Manager conflicting with the Windows power manager? Could some other piece of software I am running (NAV) interfere with this?

Any thoughts on how to solve this issue would be GREATLY appreciated.

No, it is mistaken here. I re-image manually, just use the Easy Driver to find the driver for me. After that, I have to install the driver by my self. Some drivers are not relevant so I accessed Dell.com to find them. But most are appropriate.
I don't know why my boot speed is slow like that. Do you find any reason for this?
