E6410 vs E6420

    I haven't seen the E6420 but have the E6410. The potential benefits I see for the E6420 are:

    1. Faster CPU options
    2. The Optimus graphics option (with Nvidia GPU) and faster Intel graphics
    3. The PgUp / PgDn keys being near the front of the keyboard
    4. The bay battery options

    However, these are offset by:
    1. A wider chassis with bigger footprint and slightly higher weight
    2. The uncertain build quality (the E6410 improved on the few weaknesses of the E6400)
    3. The less usable 16:9 display with either fewer vertical pixels (WXGA) or smaller pixels (WXGA+)
    4. The questionable styling (for a business notebook)
    5. The loss of the one piece removable base

    Given the current price differential, unless the E6420 has something you cannot do without then an E6410 from Dell Outlet makes much better sense.
