    willard, thank you very much for those reflections. looks like i will not be making a decision yet, as keyboard flex for me is a no no. rest of your review is very positive for the E6500. sounds to me like dell keyboards have gone downhill in the past couple of years...

    From what I've seen, I believe Dell's keyboards actually have gotten better. Maybe willard's is out of the norm? Their Precision keyboards feel solid to me but I've only used the backlit version. I believe I read somewhere that you can try the Dell business laptops for 30 days or something, to see if you like it?

    I think it is....My coworker has a E6400 and it is solid. I am going to see if they can come for a refit on the keyboard.
