Anyone ever done this, install the E6500's LED-backlit LCD or even the M4400's RGBLED LCD into a Dell Latitude D830?

I physically don't have an E6500 or M4400 infront of me, but from what I can see, the backlight derives all of its power from the LVDS connector. I would like to know if anyone has observed any physical differences that would prevent me from installing one of the updated panels into a D830 bezel?
