    Tough to say on this one... the E6400 and E6410 caddy are probably the same, but the E6510 has to have had a small chassis revision to support 16:9 screens. My guess would be that the E6500 caddy probably works, but if it doesn't, you might be able to mod it a tiny bit and make it work.

    eBay has the caddies for a third of newmodeus's prices if you want to give it a shot.

    the caddy for the 6500 does not work on the 6510. i have not been able to find a caddy for the 6510 yet. does anybody know where to find one?

    Have you checked with Dell? Their spare parts department may have it, but if yours broke, the warranty should cover it.
