E6500 running slow when warm

    I'm having / had the same problem. My Dell e6500 starting getting hot one day. I installed an app that showed the internal temp at close to 70 degrees C.

    The simple solution I found: Took apart my computer enough to find chunks of dust, and vacuumed them out. Result was a surprising 15 degree difference. I only got as far as removing the fan following these directions:

    Most of it stuff was around the fan / vent to the outside of the case.

    BTW ... I have the A11 BIOS. Did not change a thing there.
