    Dell has a PDF out now listing the order for installing OS Drivers etc.

    ^yes, but that list includes "ControlVault"....which interferes with "Dell Data Protection" and prevents the fingerprint reader from working. :)

    The list above is based off Dell's guide, without stepping on the aforementioned land mine.

    Mine shows as "Integrated webcam" with a Microsoft-provided driver.

    Now for ALL the marbles, can anyone set up SpeedFan to set the fan? Mine doesn't detect it, and i8kfan causes BSODs :(

    Thanks, this list was really helpful. One package I noticed that was left out was Intel's Rapid Store Tech, which replaces the default MSAHCI driver with the IASTor driver (10.6.0.1002 as of 6/8/2011).

    On my system with the Crucial M4 SSD, I noticed benchmark improvements with the IAStor driver.

    Nick, is there a reason why Rapid Store was left off the initial list? I see GK added the SATA storage drivers in (which is Intel Rapid Store I believe).

    I have no idea about installing Intel's Turbo Boost. Anybody have thoughts on that?
