e6520/e6420 Driver Install List

Doh, disregard this message as i posted it to the wrong forum page. How do i delete this message?

Also, I should mention I downloaded and used all the latest drivers from the Dell webpage for the E6420, except the following(which i got from the Intel or Nvidia website directly):
-Intel Chipset
-Intel Raid/AHCI drivers
-Intel Video Card
-Intel 6300 Wifi Nic
-Intel onboard gigabit nic
-Nvidia nvs 4200m

 

I had to reset my machine yesterday and wanted to leave an updated list of the drivers and the install order based on the latest version (A03) of the Dell Latitude E-Family & Mobile Precision Reimage “How-To” Guide.

A used a very helpful idea posted by ranran in the E6520 Owners forum to rename drivers according to the order of installation and type and burn it into a DVD. I also included .NET required for some of the installs.

Another option: instead of downloading each driver separately, here is everything in one package for the e6420 on Windows 7.

One can use the cab file tools or "expand" tool to extract everything in one directory, and then trim accordingly. Link -> Expand tool

followed this list religiously and my latitude is flying now on ssd.
only thing is do i need to install dell webcam central?
or not indicated?
