That's great news. The A07 bios and new ATI driver A03 didn't fix it. Can we expect a new video driver?

Hi Mano_G, could you tell me real world web test battery life expectations for the 4600 vs the 6600 at this moment. I would assume M4600 with AMD graphics with patch, vs 4600 with Optimus, vs 6600 with AMD.
I have read alternate reviews that the M8900 in the M6600 does and does not idle back.

Will the fix for the M5950 in the M4600 also be a fix for the M6600 graphics if that is so for both?

I am trying to make my purchase ASAP, so I could really use your feedback. This has been delaying my purchase the more I do research. Given that HP doesn't have AG panels, I'm sticking with Dell, and would prefer a Precision. If, however, if Dell doesn't use AMD's power savings feature, i'm going to downgrade to a Vostro 17in instead.

    Please reply.

HP Elite Books is lower-grade than Dell Precision.
Dell Precision has 4 RAM slot ,is for better usage.
