Got a M90 with the FX2500 i need to safely flash to 7900GTX

    i tried all the above, first i couldnt "run the HB usb utility" the only thing i could run wanted to format a random IDE drive .. which i wasnt about to do, ,but i did right click on the new usb drive (G:\) and formatted it Fat32.

    I put nvflash newbios.rom and oldbios.rom on the flash drive and got the same error unknown command. By the way I couldn't boot from the usb so i booted from a CD, and then tried to use the extension G: which was not known, so i was able to use E:, which gave me the unknown command

    your computer is a laptop, isn't it? ;)
    Unlike dedicated VGA cards in Desktop computers, the Bios of the VGA is often part of the motherboard Bios.

    In such a configuration, any tool that expects a defined interface as with desktop VGA cards will fail.

    But didn'tTomttt manage to backup his bios, that would mean it's on a seperate chip.

    If you can dump the vBIOS with GPUz, then the vBIOS is not part of the motherboard BIOS.

    ok forget it then can the m90 switch out for a fx380?
