Greetings, The screen on my c540 keeps flopping down when I have it open, like the hinges are loose or something. Is there anyway to tighten them? If so, I can't see it, or is there a "fix" someone who has had this problem has come up with. It is quite annoying!
    Thanks,
    -DDaymen

If the hinge itself isn't wobbling (which it sounds like it isn't), there's no way to fix this. You'll need to replace the hinges, which I wouldn't recommend as the system is so old.

I figured it would be something like that.Maybe I'll try to "shimmy" them up with something. If I find something that fixes it without being too rigged up looking I'll post it. Big hammer maybe??

If you are willing to do a swap then buy some new hinges. $12.56 new and the instructions are here.
