Hi, My daughter's Latitude C640 had a problem the other night - smoke came out near DC in jack. I've stripped the laptop down to the motherboard, thinking that I would just have to reflow the connector pins. The board is badly burnt in the connector area. Any chance that anybody has got a schematic of that area, or does anybody know what component the +DC feeds to ? It works fine on battery, so it's a fault worth persuing ! Any help would be greatly appreciated !
