Latitude c810 Fans Always on..not running hot

I have older Latitude c810 ...Fans are always on ..on high
Its not running hot ...cpu as well as heatsink are not even warm ....
I have installed I8kfanGui just to see if i can make any changes ..however it shows 85 degrees the whole time ..doesnt matter if it runs for a min or 10 hours ....any ideas...heat sink is clean so is everythign else ..bios upadated to the lates version....it looks like the thermistor or whatever measures the temp is just not working right...? any ideas?

any help would be great....
