    Hi all!

Just wanted to say that I have recently acquired a D430... It had a dead hard drive. I have put in a 64GB SSD replacement for the weird little 1.8" drive it has and I have to say I'm pretty impressed!

This is by no means a powerful laptop... it's 3 years old and only has 2Gb RAM... But the battery lasted for 5.5 hours doing some web surfing and performance when running basic tasks in windows 7 is in no way lacklustre. It has a dual core centrino processor which for its age and size seems pretty impressive.

For carting around in my backpack to do some uni work on this machine is great! I even have the external DVD burner to match

I used to have one, however Dell replaced it cause it kept on having issues.

Also, I tried to PM you but you blocked PM. I have the media dock and few other accessories that I willing to let go for cheap - let me know if you are interested.
