Are the LCD screens on new D630s still CCFL or have they changed to LED?

Can't find the info here or on Dell.com.

    Cheers.

    CCFL ;)

The new range coming up (Latitude E) will have LED LCD screens.

LED screens are known to be considerably WARMER, I find this not to be a good feature in a laptop where your system is poorly ventilated and cooled to begin with. I dont see LED screens as a very good idea at all unless significant changes are made to a laptop chassis whereby it provides better cooling and ventilation.

    LED's use very little power.
Do you have a source to back up this statement.
I would be very surprised if this is true.

My LED screen is 10 times cooler compared to the old CCFL which got really hot but only on the bottom and top.
