Latitude D630 motherboard in D620 chassis?

    I see almost no physical difference in the chassis, use the same battery. Would you be able to use the newer board D630 motherboard in a D620 chassis?

    This is the biggest difference. There is also the movement of the kensington lock thing, and a little section of different chassis around the right USB ports.

    D620 board in D630 more or less works fine... you have to saw off a little plastic stub somewhere under the KB. D630 board in D620 I've never tried. I'd assume it's similarly easy though, assuming you can fit that firewire port in the iRDA hole.
