I'm having a curious problem with a co-workers laptop that I can't seem to find an answer to.

When docked, I am able to connect to the internet wired but not wirelessly - wireless I can see and connect to networks, but never receive any packets... only send.

When un-docked, wireless problem remains the same, but wired internet no longer works either - not seeing a cable plugged in. I've tried with the power cable plugged in and unplugged to be sure that it wasn't a power setting turning off the card.

For wireless, I've un-installed the utility that Dell shipped for managing connections and tried using windows to manage wireless connections. For both wireless and wired connections I've tried un-installing and re-installing drivers, but to no avail.

Anyone have any suggestions? I've tried searching the Dell KB also but can't come up with anything similar to my problem.
