Hey, I currently have an e5440 with the 1600x900 LCD. I love basically everything about it except for the screen. I would like an IPS screen because the viewing angles are absolutely terrible on the stock screen. I would even trade the higher resolution for an IPS display. Is this possible? From my research this laptop uses a 40pin LVDS screen, but apparently some of the e6440s use eDP instead. How can I tell if my laptop has an 40 pin eDP or a 40 pin LVDS?
