Well, I received my refurbished Dell Latitude E6320, and when I went to upgrade the RAM, I found that the CPU (a Core i3 2310M) was physically attached to the motherboard. That being the case, I'm returning it and getting a refurbished one that has a Core i7 2620M instead - the fastest processor they offer in the E6320.

Other than that, it looks like a good notebook - it's lightweight and much more portable than my Vostro 1500. Only one USB port though, but I can always get the E-Modular USB 3.0 attachment.

Yea, I figured it would be - like the D4XX series. Those systems are way too tiny to have a socketable processor. Plus, the new E6220 is the in the same boat.

Many thin notebooks use BGA soldered CPU's, the main competitor to the E6320 would be Lenovo's x220 which utilizes BGA soldered CPU's. BGA soldered CPU's allow for thinner notebooks as it isn't PGA, and a socket requires more space. There are many downfalls with buying such a thin and light notebook, take a look at my Latitude 13. :p
