Recently, When I hibernate Win 7, sometimes the hibernate process doesn't complete successfully (screen goes blank with no HDD activity and I must turn off my laptop by holding the power button) . I reinstall windows and I still have the problem. I think it may be caused by upgrading the BIOS to A28, since I didn't have this issue before upgrade.

I also run Dell Diagnosis and there were no hardware problem.

    1. Does anyone have similar problem?
    2. Is it safe to downgrade from A28 to A27? (How can I verify that the bios downgrade is done properly?)

    Specs
    CPU: T9550
    RAM 4 GB DDR2
    HDD: Seagate 250- 7200rpm
    Win 7 SP1- Ultimate

    Thanks...!

Just run the A27 BIOS installer. Unlike some manufacturers, Dell allows downgrades as well as upgrades. After the installation the BIOS screen should show A27.
