Yes, the keyboard is easily changed. However, can you find a reasonably priced UK keyboard, or are you happy to have the US layout and no £ sign (you do get a full-sized left shift key instead)?

Well a UK keyboard would be ideal but I can't find one. That site does a non backlit UK layout but not a backlit one. It does all the other languages however!

Would Dell sell them at a reasonable price?

the 185.20 driver works perfectly with the nvs 160m. just installed it today, and it does not suffer from the earlier problems. nvidia does not "support" most laptops, but requires an agreement with the vendor to provide the generic support driver. dell has refused this agreement on the latitudes, and this is why nvidia will not support. (i have been in contact with nvidia recently about this).

install the 185.20 with the modded inf (which people have said supports the sleep modes again), and you should be good to go. and it is a drastic improvement over the 176.07 provided by dell. nvidia has confirmed that there is no hardware modification that would prevent lv2go.com's drivers from working properly, so it may have just been the beta issues with 180.xx or the modified infs.

let me know if you have any questions, but dont worry about the support from here on out, it will be provided as always by laptopvideo2go.com and community

I'll wait a few days before I try it out too, for feedback from you. 180.xx didn't work for me at all. But 185.20 sounds interesting.

This Dell customisation or agreement issue is very confusing. This put us customers in the unhappy position of having a product that neither the manufacturer nor the seller supports officially or correctly, respectively. I wonder how Linux users manage this situation since there are no open source drivers for the GPU.

I have the 185 and I've had a couple Blue Screens today since installing. I'm not sure if it's related yet because other software was installed last night.

You would need to phone Dell parts. The keyboard is not listed as a E6400 part, but must be available.

I was served this morning, a new Creative webcam driver by Windows Update - version 1.5.2.1227. I've just tested the webcam with Skype and there's a slight difference in the picture quality but other than that, I don't see any differences or have experienced any problems so far.

I installed 185.20 last night and within an hour my video went completely nuts. Back to the Dell driver and all is well again. I think I'll stick with Dell approved drivers :)

can you be more specific about what happened? its worth telling the guys at laptopvideo2go and here.

i ask especially because i don't think i have had any problems with it yet, and it ran WoW much more cleanly. i did have a crash/restore of the video driver this morning, but im fairly certain it was caused by ultramon which crashed. ill report back if it happens again, but everything seems clear so far, so id be curious what problems people are having (and whether they are having them only with e6400 and not e6500 (i am using e6500)).
