In Portugal the support is great. I had a problem with the keyboard, and next day a guy from UPS was at my door with a new one.

    Greets!

Niiiice :) :) Did you order your Dell privately (= not through a company)? If so, then it's as good as here. I was really surprised to be treated so well given that I am a private customer. I mean, I don't even speak Finnish, I would have real trouble knowing how to protest if they treated me badly...

I forgot to mention that I'm using the 185.20 driver for the Nvidia GPU. This is the same one I was using before.

Since it was always the audio service which stopped after the service crash, I reinstalled the driver today. It's been only a few hours since without any incidents. I'll report if anything does happen.

The one problem I've not had so far is with sleep and hibernation, except with one GPU driver which didn't suit my computer at all. No crashes but the occasional issues with removable devices but nothing major.

Regarding the service, I just received answer from Dell. They are going to send me a new optical drive and a new wireless card. This is in response due to the audio problem we all know. I explained it to them in great detail.
Unfortunately, it seems the woman responsible didn't read my first mail in which I had told about other problems (loose smart card reader, loose battery, led-cover bent up).
I asked again about the led-cover as this bothers me the most. I forgot to ask about the smart cart reader and battery. :(

I'm happy though to have at least a reply and the will to do something. Exchanging the parts will probably lead to nothing, but you never know.

I´ve ordered from an Ebay trusted seller in the UK (it´s not the first i bought from him, here we don´t have the XPS lineup, neither we can buy as individuals), it was a factory outlet one.
That´s the most surprising, i was treated as if i had ordered it here in Portugal.
BTW, the Warranty Transfer wasn´t even completed!;)

    Greets!

Hi everyone, just registered but I've been using this site for a while as the information is priceless. I have an e6400 with the nvidia GPU and I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to output to the DVI (which I have via a dongle), VGA, and the laptop screen all at the same time. I seem to be limited to a dual monitor configuration at this point since it only presents two monitors at a time.
    Any help is appreciatted.

I am not sure if it's doable, but connect everything. And have a visit to Nvidia Control Panel in the Control Panel.

Yeah that's where I was limited to the two monitor selection. Just wanted to see if there was a way to get more than those two going.
