Hello - I have a Dell Latitide E6400. When connecting it to a 24" monitor via HDMI to DVI cable and set the res to 1920x1080 the screen over runs boundries of the monitor. Example - the bottom task bar, I can only see the top half of it. Desktop icons on the left side of the screen, I can only see half of the icon.

OS - Windows XP Prof SP 3

    Latitude E6400

    Inter Core 2 Duo P8400 2.26 ghz

Display Adapter - Mobile Intel 4 series Express Chipset

    Monitor - Hannspree HF237 HDMI

    any ideas?

That didnt do it but it got me going in the right direction. This monitor has an 'Image Setting' and within there it was set to 'Video', once I changed it to 'PC' everything looks great.

    thanks.
