I need a small laptop to use that is under $400, very portable, and somewhat durable. Also decent screen...Looking for people's thoughts on these:

    1. How's touchscreen? Does it affect clarity/viewing angles? Tax resources? Is the standard 1024X600 screen a better choice

    2. Is there enough computing power to run Win7 Home Premium?

    3. How do standard def. TV shows and movies ala iTunes look?

    4.How's the 6 cell battery?

    5. How durable and cleanable is the non-slip case coating?

It's not bad if you are specifically looking for a netbook and are prepared to accept the limitations of the platform (not Dell specifically, but netbooks in general).

    1. The touchscreen is fine. It's of limited use to me personally, but seems to work well.

    2. It's only offered with 7 Starter, but that might be a MS limitation.

    3. Hulu worked ok on XP.

    4. I got 6 hours on low power settings working with a wireless connection.

    5. Don't know. Only had the system for a couple of days. It's a rubberized coating, so it seemed pretty durable.
