The backlit keyboard only comes in one color, and that is black. Are you talking about the backlighting? That is also available in white only. It's a very nice off-white glow.

I think he was referring to the case color.

As for the WiFi card, they seem to be available on Provantage for 36.87 USD at the moment.

Anyone has any deals on a backlit keyboard?

You can get it on eBay for $67 and change, I think.

It was pretty easy, but you have to be bit careful when opening the top strip.

OK, I received the Intel® WiFi Link 5300 802.11a/g/n Draft Mini Card this Monday, unfortunately it wasn't a Half Mini Card, it was a Mini Card, anyway I tried installing it in a different way, keep in mind this method only works when you don't have a Radio Switch Board or WWAN Card installed. In my case I had a Radio Switch Board, but not a WWAN Card present, therefore I installed it in the WWAN Card slot, since I did that the only problem is the WIFI Light does not glow, that's about it.

*I updated from Dell Wireless™ 1510 802.11a/g/n Mini Card to Intel® WiFi Link 5300 802.11a/g/n Draft Mini Card

I did my backlit upgrade a while ago. Dell charged me $199+Tax for T989G keyboard. I ordered mine with 5300 and FP reader.

Did you notice only option for KBD lighting is either OFF or Auto? I can't make it stay on unlike E6400. Also I can't control brightness of KBD lighting, only monitor lighting.

BTW: Dell Canada is extremely sluggish at getting accessories for E4200. I still can't order another leather folio nor the 4cell battery nor 45W adapter for it.
