M4400 hiccups when GPU temp hits 75-80

    Thanks for the update.

    Try to avoid using the computer on any soft surfaces - that's where a lot of the muck comes from.

    However, if the heatsink was not well fitted to the CPU / GPU then they would heat up and cause the fan to run fast. And a fast fan makes a much better vacuum cleaner than a slow one.

    I suggest that you also investigate undervolting the CPU. You should get a cooler and quieter notebook without any loss of performance.
