Is anyone else seeing this problem?

I have an M4400 running W7 pro x64, and at work I have it docked and use both the laptop screen and an external screen (don't know if that matters). Sometimes, not always but quite often, when I put it to sleep (aka standby) by using the start menu command, it behaves as if it goes to sleep, the screen blacks out etc, but it doesn't really. And I realize this when I've arrived at home and pick it out of its bag, it is *hot* really hot and still running.

I have experienced this exact situation also a couple of times, so it's not an issue specific to the M4400. I have yet to find out what causes this. I always make sure the laptop really entered standby by waiting for the blinking power led.

And we have W7x64 in common...

Yes, I usually try to wait for the power led blink, but sometimes I'm in a rush.
