M4400 screen problems

    Hi i have the m4400 with the screen 1440x900
    when i turn the light down with FN+arrow down the screem becomes unstable, its only when the light is in min or max its stable
    Please help

    What do you mean by 'the screen becomes unstable'? Try disabling the ambient light sensor, if your computer has one.

    Have you tried updating the drivers and/or the BIOS?

    Screen flickering has appeared on some of the new LED screens. I recommend you upgrade to the latest drivers from Nvidia and to the latest BIOS. If it still happens, call Dell and ask for a screen replacement. I did that and they came next morning and replaced the screen. All is well now.
