I'm shopping for a spare power supply for my M4400 that need to be able to do full GPU/CPU load for 8 hour a day will the the90W do it or I need to go 130W. I still have not used the battery so I could deactivate battery charging on the spare PSU. I know the question has probably already been asked but I can't find the answer about my config. Also is there cheaper one than my two linked

Are you sure the gpu/cpu won't be downclocked because it's my job laptop and time is money

[edit] on dell site the m4400 is not listed in the compatibilty list of the 90w

with your spec it will be fine. if u had the FX1700 and the QX9300 it might struggle if you have the battery installed

either way, if u see downclocking, just plug it back into the original PS. whats the big problem?

yea, you can get them for cheaper somewhere.... also im selling mine for less, and its the one that came with my m4400, so you wouldn't have any compatibility to worry about. that said I dont think you need to be worried anyways. mine had the 1700 and never said anything about it being underpowered.

How much do you want want for your 130W PSU (PM me)

The problem is that I work someday at home and some other at work so I can't just switch to the other PSU because it won't be near
