bought a refurb in late 2008. Been really good, especially Dell's replacement parts service.

since the beginning of summer however I've been noticing some louder noises coming out of the left side of the computer where the fan and HDD is.
the noise is noticeable when i first start the computer but goes away after several minutes..
since its more of a whirring sound, I'm guessing its the fan.
problem is not sure whats causing it. im not doing anything intensive.. and I often clean the fan of dust.

Call or Chat up Dell and request a replacement CPU fan, have them mail it out, as its super cheap to replace. If that doesnt fix it, replace the HDD.
