M4600 & Intel 310 Soda Creek SSD Compatibility ?

    Nope. The screw's only use for securing the hdd bay during shipment.
    If you unscrew it, the lock will work as it does work...;)

    Thanks man! I just confirmed exactly what you said. And that lock screw fits perfectly. Now I don't have to tape my SSD down haha

    Hey guys I'm curious is there a way to get a second drive in the m4600 but leave the sata as the main disk?

    I have an ocz max iops drive I want as the main disk but I want to offload some tasks to a second location and the msata or mpcie seem perfect but I'm not sure it works.

    Dell said that if you use the mini pcie slot then that disk had to be the boot drive and that's not what I'm looking for exactly

    you can. some people are dual booting on the ssd and hdd

    So on your machine you could boot from your Scorpio and use your soda creek as your secondary d drive?

    Just making sure before I order one
