Only one touch-point works for me in Windows 8 as well, unfortunately.

For RGB IPS, is there panel with abosulte0 corner tint on a white background? Did DIY upgrade and with 2 panel, both panel show some degree of corner tint.

Can you link me to a pic that has the corner tint. I will take a pic of my screen with an all white background to compare it too. I do not see any corner tint with my IPS display.

It is really hard to get picture of that, but it is obvious if you have it, even browsing NBR, I can see it. Probably those screen seller have lower grade panel than dell ~~

If you pull up premier color, do the manufacturer date say week 00,2011?

In yours, The right side is all blue and left side is much orangeish, here is mine using phone. I think it is noticeable.

I think just the camera is picking it up. I can't notice it. I am normally a very picky person too. I do not have the color app install anymore, so I do not know if that can correct anything you are seeing.

    Baiii,

Mine has a slight blue tint about as wide as the show desktop button and 2" upwards. I don't notice it at >=50% brightness (sRGB). Each tick down gets a little more noticeable. On the lowest setting because the brightness is so low the graphic no longer appears white - seems grayish.

I think what it might be is some sort of low brightness shadow or reflection. When I use Adobe Bridge to display a pure white (#ffffff) or black #000000, 1920 * 1080 test jpg - in some conditions I can see the task tray icon shadows.

I did see the orange tint in tommy's attachment. I don't have a camera right at this moment (it's off enjoying Christmas), I'll see if I can post a pic of mine in a day or two.

    Merry Christmas!

Edit: Also my Premiere Color App displays the same display build date as yours and Tommys'. Everything reads the same except for Graphics HW and OS Ver.

I cannot see what you guys see in the pic I posted when I am in front of the laptop. I took the pic with a camera phone, and I have florescent lights above me, maybe that distorted the pic. I don't know. I've sent back many monitors and laptops that had any trace of a defect in the screen. So if only the camera can see I and I can't IRL, then I definitely can live with it. :) Now the white IPS glow, I am used to.

LoL, I think it is red eye for screens. Probably just the camera but your not seeing it because of your lighting. You also have that just barely blue tint where mine is. I have bad lighting - dirty glass, yellowish brass, 6 tear drop bulbs chandelier. However, the color scheme of NBR being light gray doesn't show the tint at 40% brightness to me that Baiii says he's seeing here. I can also see a orangish/blueish pattern in Baiii's attachment.
I don't know how mine will photograph yet.

White portions of pictures at full RGB (like a ray of white sunshine coming through clouds) is really sharp after using sRGB at 40% percent brightness for a week.
