    hello

If I push the Start-button there are only for less than 1 second the normal startup-lights and then nothing. No boot-screen, just a short noise from the hard drive but otherwise nothing.

It all began when the notebook crashed during windows and then I had the same problem like now but I was after half an hour able to restart it. There was an error-message that there had been an overheating-issue.

I thought there is to much dust inside, so I dissembled it and cleaned the fans and grills from dust (there was nearly nothing) but since then it never started again.

I changed the graphic card in November but had afterwards no problems with it.

    Maybe somebody can help.

Are all accessories genuine (AC adapter and battery)? Remove the HDD and see if that does anything. Reseat the memory and check the fan connector.

Everthing is genuine. I have also two AC adapters and tried it with both and with and without battery.

The notebook does not stay power on, it shut down.

I had removed the the HDD but nothing change (except that there is no HDD-Light, of course).

    Reseat the memory?
    Does not help either.

I just checked the fan connectors, both are in the Socket how they should be.

Okay well I would try removing the battery and AC adapter and holding down the power button for 30 seconds, and try this 2-3 times.

After that you may have a defective motherboard/ power circuitry issues with the motherboard.
