    Greetings
I have a dell laptop (model Vostro 1510). Sometime back a memory card got stuck in its memory slot and I wasn’t able to get it out. Therefore I was forced to pull it out by force. Afterward I switched off the laptop; next time I turned it back on the setup screen wouldn’t start and the ScrLk ligt was blinking and the NumLk light remained on. Also sometimes it loads windows but it emmidietly freezes. Since this problem started it also has affected its battery life.
Please advice on how to solve the problem
    Sincerely yours
    Dell laptop user

Hi and welcome to the forums!

I'm sorry to hear about your laptop troubles and it does seem like a hardware issue which in that case would require an RMA. However, just to eliminate any possible software related causes, I'd recommend you try and boot into safe mode and perform a system restore back to the point where your laptop was running fine.

He wants to say that you should return it/repair it under warranty, but if your warranty has already run out, there isn't much you can do down this avenue.
