    Hi folks,

just wanted to leave a note that Intel Matrix Storage Driver/Manager 8.8 was released. Find it here.

Unfortunately I don't have time to try it out right now...

WOW. I'm claiming success. No visible DPC latency issues (compared to the 8.2 or 8.7 versions of the driver).

Just read it while working... sounds good! :) You tried it with all available hardware activated?

downloading now... I had 8.7 that gave me horrible latency issues, 8.2 seems to solve the problem, but I'll give these a shot

These are working much better on my e6400 than the 8.7 drivers. There are still occasional latency spikes, but nothing too bad.

Yes, my fully-loaded Latitude E6500. DVD+RW, eSATA, Firewire, Dell Bluetooth 410, Webcam, etc. My "absolute maximum" latency reported by the DPC Latency Checker is < 1000 µs.

How often? I have been seeing spikes around 30 seconds or so, but I am also watching a movie in vlc.

Much better, DPC latency all in the green where as before I had constant red spikes.
