Here is a video I did comparing XP with Win7 bootup and shutdown.
    Basically a $700 desktop with XP compared to a Win7 M6500 for $4000.

You will also see how the Spyder3 loads the color profile on the M6500.
If you are expecting to be blown away by speed you won't be.

Through the Device Manager/ Wireless Card properties you can configure the wireless for B only, G (Auto) and G (Performance). I have the Dell 1397.

You can change the settings of the switch in the bios.

I have run HD Tune Trial on my M6500 with

    a.) the pre-installed 64GB SSD (Samsung) and
b.) a Seagate 7.2k rpm, 500GB HDD (installed as a second HDD in my M6500 from my previous laptop)

    READ benchmarks only.

I personally think the Samsung SSD is pretty fast, BUT it's nevertheless alot slower than e.g. Intel X-25m G2 SSDs, see http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1022/5/ for comparison.

I am thinking of adding the OCZ Agility Series OCZSSD2-1AGT250G 2.5" 250GB SSD
To my existing, two 250mb hard drives. I run raid for data protection (it’s all about the data!!!)
What’s the best three drive configuration? Will Raid 5 take advantage of the SSD speed?

With regards to all the previous talk of USB3.0...

What's the difference between 3.0 and 2.0, and are there many peripherals out there that use USB3.0 yet..? (Will they be backward compatible with 2.0, like 2.0 was with 1.1?)

RAID 5 on a cheap integrated RAID Controller is pretty rubbish anyway, there is a lot of CPU overhead needed and with the current speeds of the miniPCIe SSD's and with the minor potential speed increases it'd make much more sence to get 1 large 2.5" SSD with excellent R/W speeds.
