Mine just arrived today and sits perfectly flat.

FYI for those of you in the market for a minimal slipcase for this beauty, the SuedeJacket from Waterfield Designs for the 13" Macbook Pro fits the V13 perfectly. I also got the size 13-3 SleeveCase which also fits perfectly.
If I get some time this weekend, I'll post pics of them with the V13.

The screen does have blue tint like most low quality LED screen. I think the screen is another weak part of this laptop, but i can't really complain about it considering the price. the resolution is ok, but the contrast, viewing angle is not very good.

mine is perfectly flat, I've experience that too, but i suspect it is the table because when I place my v13 on my table at home which i know is perfectly flat, it sits perfectly. :D

When I get mine I will calibrate the screen using Spyder3, usually it improves the contrast and colors a lot, so it's good enough for most uses, and gone is the blue tint.

Here's some pics of my V13 in a Waterfield Designs Sleevecase and SuedeJacket. They fit perfectly in size 13-3 or ones made for the 13" Macbook Pro.

so you're saying spyder does help in removing the blue tint? does it improve the contrast as well?

Yes, calibrations is a must, it helps on colors and contrast.
