Looks very nice. Spotted it on the Hong Kong, Mayalsia, China site as well as the reported Singapore site. (See updates below.)

I am looking for other available countries right now. Will keep this post updated.

Just spotted the starting price on the Dell China website: (see US price @ Update 3 below)

    Celeron
    2GB RAM
    250GB hdd
    4099RMB~$600USD

    Core2Solo SU3500
    2GB RAM
    320GB hdd
    4999RMB~$732USD

Doesn't let me through to the config page. Here is the google translate link for you guys.

Actual translation should mean "ships on the 14th" assuming that means December.

    Update1:

    - Ah, available in the UK and Australia also.
    - Don't see the C2D option on the UK page, looks like it's still being updated. (LINK)
    - Top spec option on AUS page @ a pricey $13xxAUD. Laptops are abit more expensive over there. :-/ (LINK)

Add a nvidia GT210m or hell even the nvidia 105m and I would be sold. Well the dual core model that they offer is based on the Core 2 architecture, but yes a dual core model would nice,

It's out in NZ, a pretty good price compared to other brand CULVs here.

How does this even compete with HP's ProBook 5310m?

Engadget lists it starting at $450, which if true, would be quite spectacular compared to the price of higher end netbooks.

It looks nice except for the 6 cell 30Whr battery. That's only half the capacity of a good high-capacity 6 cell battery so there will be only half the battery time. And it seems that the battery is internal and not user-swappable.
