I have Latitude D830 with Nvidia Quadro NVS 140M.
    Driver version is 6.14.11.119.

The maximum resolution is 1920x1200 pixels.
Here's the issue: whenever the user changes the screen resolution to any thing other than 1920x1200 (e.g. 1280x1024, 1024x76 the display becomes "fuzzy" for lack of a better word. The image/icons/text becomes blur.
When I change the resolution, the message I get is 'Your display is designed to run optimally at a resolution of 1920x1200.'
Only when the screen resolution is 1920x1200 is the display crisp, clear as it should be for the other standard settings. The issue is that the "size" of items on the display is too small for me to read, which is why I want to change the screen resolution(preferable to 1280x1024.

This is my work computer and its really troublesome to work with such high resolution(and low text size etc). I have been trying things like increasing the text size/font for my editors/browsers etc. but that's not enough....
Even for the display properties I have selected Large Fonts.

    Any help is highly appreciated.

    Thanks.

That's how it is supposed to be... when you go from a high resolution to an inferior one, you get some blur (some, it shouldn't be a lot). You get more blur as more you decrease the resolution. The only thing you can do so as to keep the things crisp and don't become blind in the future is to maintain the maximum resolution and increase DPI (dots per inch) somewhere in system panel. Also, ctrl+ when browsing internet...
