    Lenovo's own line (IdeaPad) is crap. They inherited ThinkPad from IBM and have greatly improved it (roll cage, FRP). ThinkPads IMO are sff versions of Latitudes. They are bullet proof yet Lenovo manages to get them half a cm to half an inch thinner than Latitudes. For 750 GBP, you would have to look to a last generation T410 or a really stripped down T420.

    I've had to service the ProBook and it isn't fun. Elitebooks are good but are $$$.

    Have decided to keep the E6400. Will change next year and see what 2012 Latitude's look like. If they still look the same, I'll switch to Vaio S series or the EliteBook. Cheers all.
