I tried to disable my point stick on my E6400. I went into DellTPad and disabled my point stick and the point stick button(s). It would disable the point stick until i restarted my computer. When it started up it turned back on. In DellTPad it still has it as disabled. Now when i went to enable it and then disable it again. How when i disable it the point stick continues to work. Is there any way i can disable it or uninstall it as it gets in the way of my typing. If i touch it, it will move my cursor.

    Thank you

Try updating the touchpad driver (or reinstalling it). It should remember the setting, mine keeps it disabled.
