Same thing happened to me guys, today morning it moved to 22 and I got shipping number by noon. Maybe you guys will get by late evening or by tomorrow.
It Ships from NASHVILLE, TN. Most laptops must have reached USA from china over the weekend.

i dont think Frank is doing a very good job on being on top of Alienware, dell is going to make him lose so many buyers -

I also don't think Frank is doing a very good job with Alienware. He's spread too thin, he's trying to basically manage all of Alienware *and* XPS globally and what he really needs is the right talent to manage pieces of that for him. Like why is it that to get something resembling decent support, we need to use Twitter to get to him directly? It's absurd. No doubt, the same thing is happening internally with him being the bottleneck on everything because either there is no proper delegation going on or a lack of talent that can't solve stuff without bringing it to him. -

i know there is some systems already at dell's local warehouse, like hawk10eye. those are being shipped out to customers this week.
but the orders like mine are barely being shipped from the manufacturer(from china i think), and then however long it stays in texas before the ship it to me -

My order status says shipped but no tracking information yet. EDD is updated to December 22nd, even though I chose express overnight delivery. Order was placed on December 1st.

Why was orders being held by dell? Only main issue with this current release is the Intel card needs to be disabled to keep stuttering down during games?

You do not need to disable the Intel card to prevent stuttering in games, it does not stutter in games because the NV card is working then. Only stutters when switching from Intel to NV and back, this happens on the desktop because of some sort of drivers/Windows issue that hasn't been fixed for months (happens in other 1060 notebooks, e.g. MSI GS43). -

Have a Gigabyte Aero 14 now just to compare had just over a week been running on battery every day (8hours on battery) until empty 0% wear out the box and still at 0%, so somethings not right with your AW i think? -
So I just turned on fan performance mode and the fans became crazy loud, and remain that way the whole time. Basically it's louder than my ceiling fan, doesn't matter if I'm gaming or the system is sitting idle with nothing open.

Unfortunately no delivery for me today.
Syncreon sent it out too late so didn't get to my local hub in time for delivery today.
Stated that it 'Might' get delivered tomorrow!
Said no offence mate, but your taking the piss now......also asked for expedited shipping but said it would be at my cost!
is there no end to this madness? Haha.....
Told him to sort it out, as they are not sticking to the delivery date stated in the shipping email.
Was told I would get a call back in an hour to see what's going on.
(the hub is only 20-30mins away as well, I'd go myself if I drove!) -
I decided to turn back my Alienware 13 R3. The Hardware is Awesome, but there are too many SW/Driver flaws which I cannot accept at this price point. And I'm not comfortable to wait that some of them "maybe" fixed in the future. That's just too risky.
Problems I had.
- Lag/Stutter in Windows (Optimus switching Issue), annoying at least for such a powerfull machine.
- Stutter/"low refresh rate" on an external monitor. Full reboot with ext. Monitor attached solves this for some time. But reappears sometimes
- No fullscreen video possible on external Monitor.
Most of the comming from optimus I think (Driver Issues). I really liked the Laptop REALLY. So can somebody tell me, if this issues still occur with the IPS Panel version, where you can switch "fully" to the dGPU (nvidia) or I maybe eben would have to go for the 15 R3 with GSYNC to avoid some of these?
Had somebody else here Problems with external monitors like me?
Config I hab: OLED, 512GB SSD, 32GB RAM, 6700HQ

Download the exe file and run it on startup, remember to deactivate any changes you made to the nvidia control panel. This file overrides windows 10 so that nvidia gpu is prefered. I didnt notice any battery drain either using this easy exe fix. But like i said reset any changes you did in nvidia controll panel.
Also talking to dell, they are looking into this problem and I also gave them the solution. Again this is a Windows 10/Nvidia/Intel problem, not a hw issue!!!
