the shop does not ship worldwide. It costs 52 EUR.
-
hmmmm 73 cad interesting.... thanks for the info
-
Mmm, and when it was pre-order I thought I bought it for alot($50usd+10 shipping) but the price looks like its gonna skyrocket!
-
52 EUR has 21% belgian tax in it. Without the tax, it's about 43 EUR. It's quite pricy, but hey! it's ORANGE!
-
personally I prefer grey one over orange.
-
so not even the grey one is available in the us?
-
This website says they have it in stock
http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore...ech_v400_cordless_notebook_laser_mouse_-_grey
Any risk takers? -
On logitech (europe) site they seem to only have the grey one available.
I want my **** v400 ****it -

I've sent off another email....
Lets see what the new date is! -
I can't believe I just read 27 pages about one mouse.... I thought this mouse would be revolutionary or something like that in order to garner so many posts....
Its cool though... how you guys are passionate about your mice -
I'm surprised too, at first it was just StickMan, marcopolo, CyberGhost and I, but it exploded to this!
Logitech better thank us....rather compensate us for the wait!!! -
I've sent yet another e-mail to a local store for the new date... waiting..waiting...
-
I've just ordered on from gameplay. The gray one Orange is apparantly released in a weeks time. Incidently Misco also is saying it has stock but once you count P&P its more expensive. Lets see if it arrives.
-
-
I think the reason why this has gotten so big is because when u type in "logitech v400" in google, this thread comes up 3rd or 4th in the list. Thats the way i found it anyway and im sure thats how many others found it also. -
Please tell us how do you like it when it arrives, if it skips or anything, maybe take some pics too? -
*twiddles thumbs* I'm still waiting. I can't wait to ditch my current mouse.
-
-
January 16th is his new date, he said they should have it by next week.
Uhhh Ohh!!!
If this mouse turns out to be mediocre....!!!!! -
Well , i want one also , when i buy my laptop in about 2 weeks time . The orange one would be very nice , but if it's not available by then , i'll settle for the grey one . It looks great and seems to have good quality , and it is wireless . I think Logitech could have a winner here , looking at how long thins topic is . They allready had a winner with the Dinovo keyboard , but that was very expensive , this one is more in pricerange .
-
how does this mouse compare to that of the V500?? the V400 uses only one AA battery compare to the V500 that uses 2 AAA batteries.
personally i really like the V500 but once i've saw the V400 i changed my mind...
-
Until it really reaches out hands, we can't say yet...
Sure there are a few reviews on the web but it doesn't justify!! -

....how does the mouse above compare to the almighty v400? -
-
-
2. you can turn it off = more battary life
3. it's smaller = more portability
4. it looks better = chicks dig it -
.....wow, they need to hurry and get that out!! -
LOL

http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore...h_v400_cordless_notebook_laser_mouse_-_orange -
but that's the orange one.. which is supposed to become available in february. the grey one is in stock.
-
Well its arrived!!! and:
In the box: Mouse, duracell battery & discs (no bag). The driver disc comes with 64bit drivers as well (although the CD isn't liked by my laptop for some reason [works fine in my desktop])
Mouse is slow moving round the screen to begin with but this is pre-install of the drivers in installed them and changed the speed and it goes as fast as I want now. I didn't see any tracking issues (will try on some other surfaces later) definitely not those a normal person would notice (I don't draw/do graphics on my laptop so I don't know if someone who does would notice anything I didn't). Mouse feels natural to hold though my little finger doesn't seem to feel quite in the right place.
Inserting and retrieving the receiver is easy for me but It might be difficult for those with chunky fingers or women with long fingernails. The little buttons works IE's forward and back no problem using them though the front one feels different to touch due to the different way you naturally touch it (flat rather than with the top of your finger unlike the back one)
All in all good for its size. Don't think it would hold its own against a desktop mouse though (for natural feel) -
Hate to dash your hopes for this little rodent, but I got one for christmas, and by now I can with reasonable confidence say one thing - it sucks. Hard.
It's reasonably ergonomic for a notebook mouse, but that's where the good things end. The famed dual-laser sensor can't seem to decide whether it's supposed to be oversensitive or undersensitive, at times it feels like and old ball mouse that hasn't been cleaned in ten years, sometimes it just stops in the middle of motion for no reason and then picks up again few seconds later, and at other times it's so sensitive that no matter how lightly you hold it, even the smallest unconscious muscle movement cause the cursor to move seemingly by itself, trying to hit a miniscule details feels like a bad comedy when for every step forward, your mouse takes two steps backward - and good luck trying to use this one on top of the laptop while cdrom drive is spinning, the vibrations cause it to wander randomly across the screen.
The back/forward buttons are clunky, and made of same piece of plastic so often when you press the back button it will also cause forward button to be activated at the same time.
Battery saving has been taken to extreme, and the mouse turns itself off way too fast, left unmoved for any amount of time, it goes to sleep and you'll have to wait few seconds before it comes back to life after you touch it again.
All in all, I'd encourage everyone to avoid this like the plague. -
Surfaces Tested:
Desktop (kitchen counter stuff): GOOD - no problems
Bed Sheets: GOOD - no problems
Bath Towel (it was sitting around so I thought I'd give it a go): Some choppyness but worked better than expected
Plastic (non shiney): GOOD
Plastic (shiny): GOOD (tried this across the room and I think i noticed the odd shudder but this was rareish)
Across the keyboard (you gotta try everything): BAD I expect the range of depths and angles confused it.
Range is excellent I could use it with out trouble on the otherside of the room something my old mouse would never be able to do
No Issue with Wireless conflicts so far. -

I did notice this, if i forgot about it for several minutes it would take a sec to realise its moving again. EDIT: only happened once havne't noticed it since. Using it for work now and its good -
im happy with my mouse that came with my desktop. Its simple and looks nice.
Avoid getting optical mice from microsoft - every now and then the cursor jumps which can be annoying -
does this mean I've waited for 4, almost 5 months, for nothing?
